Bardia National Park is located in south-western Nepal in the Terai. The access point is a village called Ambassa situated on the east west highway which goes right through the park.
Our resort is near Bardia National Park headquarters at Thakurdwara, 13 kilometers south of Ambassa.
2 buses leaves from Ambassa at 4PM and 6PM. They will carry you close to the resort or our guide with a jeep will pick you up in Ambassa and take to the resort.
To reach Ambassa:
By bus, from Delhi: Take a bus to the border at Banbassa (9 hours), cross the border to Mahendranagar and take one of the east band buses that leave the city regularly (4 hours to Ambassa).
By bus, from Kathmandu: There are many buses going to Dhangadi, Mahendranagar and Karnali via Ambassa (16 hours).
By bus, from Pokhara: 2 daily buses go to Dhangadi and Mahendranagar (12 hours to Ambassa).
By plane, from Kathmandu: There are daily flights to Nepalgunj from where our guide with a jeep will pick you up in Nepaljung airport and take to the resort.
